I started writing when I was staying overnight in hotels during business trips. My first novel, “In the Shadows of the Oaks” was written to show how the deplorable conditions in inner city schools has been created, and perpetuated, by corrupt politicians. My second novel “The Phantom” was inspired after I read an article about a paint so black that it absorbs almost all the light that strikes it. I wondered what would happen if the paint was further developed to became a black hole, and voila, my story was born. I still travel quite often for business throughout the year and have been infected with the writing bug. I love to write and my wish is for my novels to enlighten and entertain my readers enough that I could stop traveling and write full time. Besides writing I enjoy hockey and baseball (which can be frustrating following the Mets and Devils), bicycling, fast cars, working around the house, my family (grandsons, wife and adult children) and of course reading. I love to read historical novels, initially inspired by John Jakes, Michener and now Ken Follett. To me, historical novels are the most difficult to write and one day I hope to hone my skills enough to write one. Thank you so much for taking an interest in my novels and Happy Reading.
