Fearless is a cross country adventure of intrigue, friendship and murder. Six childhood friends embark an on altruistic camping trip in the 1970s to console the widow of veteran who was killed in Vietnam. Their trip, beginning with brilliant weather, warm camaraderie and the magnificent beauty of the nation quickly deteriorates as the weather changes from pleasant to hostile. Exacerbating the weather are the characters they meet and the events they encounter: the snowplow driver, Jimbo the Vet, the furry of the mighty Colorado, the antiquated, time warped salon in a small California hamlet, Vietnamese emigrants and the tumultuous meeting with the widow Lucy. Humor, adventure, PTSD (Post Traumatic Syndrome Disease) and ultimate bloodshed are woven into an exciting tale that pays homage to Veterans who served and sacrificed their lives for the country. Fictitious yet real, this story will grip the reader from beginning to end and will beg for a Part 2 to be told.
